We’re also experiencing a rise in cases in Germany overall but as a country w/ 2x the population of California, we’re still fewer new cases per day. We’ve already been on lockdown for a month here (with schools open and operating as normal) & have gotten used to this new reality.

I looked up to how Tony led the company to focus on their customers and deliver the best experience possible in as many situations as possible. It was great to see a company, although in a seemingly unrelated space of selling shoes, have and execute on this critical focus.

That said, especially around the food category and with delivery and dark kitchens being a real way to focus and build businesses, this just makes so much sense. You no longer have to be an incumbent with huge up front investment to launch a successful and lasting food business.
